This album represents a call from the deepest part of my soul to sing. 

 

There was a time in my life when the music stopped, and all was dark. I met the first angel on my path, and he chanted a prayer that cracked my wounded heart open and illuminated the darkened walls. God quickly sent another angel who asked me to sing the songs that were held in my heart...these sacred mantras that were foreign yet so familiar. 

 

The mantras set to melody on Shine are all part of this journey from darkness to light, from the valley of death to the land of the living, and to finding love in this life once again.

The practice of chanting has been my salvation. My deepest prayer is that the medicine of this music shines light upon you, as well.
